Covid-19 (Coronavirus)
Update from EML
Updated - 12/08/2020
Following a difficult period for everybody around the world, the threat of Covid-19 is by no means over, and EML are conscious that we all have a role to play in combatting this disease.
Following a staggered return to work in our premises, our offices and productions areas have been organised to allow for safe working methods, adhering to strict social distancing measures, and good hygiene practice.
We will of course still be led by UK Gov advice, and staff safety remains our number one priority. Any future changes to Gov guidelines will be followed appropriately, however at this moment I am pleased to say EML are back up to full production capacity.
We are pleased to know that many of our partners/suppliers are also in a good position, and have already, or are close to normal working patterns.
Please contact sales@emltd.net for any queries.
Please stay safe!

Following the coronavirus escalation in the UK, EML have been operating a skeleton staff with strict social distancing measures in force, however we now feel the time is right to protect our staff further, and cease all production.
In line with latest government advice, as of 1st April 2020, production at EML will be temporarily suspended for 4 weeks, to be evaluated on a weekly basis.
Many staff members will now work from home to monitor emails, however please be assured all enquiries will be dealt with as usual in a timely manner.
We currently have good stock levels, and have not been effected by any supplier issues, therefore once government advice dictates, we will be in a strong position to hit the ground running on our return to work, ensuring any new orders can be despatched quickly.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time, please stay safe!

Following the latest announcement and information supplied by the UK Government regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, EML will be moving all workers (where possible) to home working for the next 3 weeks in line with government advice.
Given the increasing risks being presented by this virus, we believe this is the best course of action to prevent any heightened risk of exposure to our workforce.
We will endeavour to supply all current orders on dates requested, however any new orders received will be processed in line with a 3-4 week despatch date.
We will operate a skeleton staff rotation on site, ensuring all employees to work to a 2m safe distance rule, in order that we may complete outstanding work.
EML office will continue to operate from home working, all emails will be monitored and responded to, in the usual manner, unfortunately telephone calls will not be possible.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update people accordingly on our status, guided by government advice.
Thank You for your understanding on this matter, we hope that you, your, families, friends and work colleagues stay safe in these worrying times.

Following UK government's recent announcements, EML are working hard to ensure minimum disruption of our products & services to our customers
Current situation
There is no current disruption to EML provision of products or services
EML will continue to trade as normal, unless otherwise advised by the UK Government, NHS England or if EML senior management take the decision to close due to worries concerning staff wellbeing.
EML have taken precautions as advised by UK government https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
and NHS England
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
regarding procedures which should be followed to reduce the possibility of contracting or spreading the disease both within the workplace and elsewhere.
For the foreseeable future, as a precautionary measure anticipating any issues which may arise, any orders placed with EML will be despatched as soon as the order is completed, regardless of the requested delivery date.
In the unfortunate event of EML closing for any period of time following advice on coronavirus, we will of course supply all goods and services as soon as possible.
Action Plan
Should there be a need to close EML premises or should the authorities advise/insist on self-isolation affecting EML staff members, EML will implement a robust Disaster Recovery Plan, where arrangements have been made for all staff to work remotely from home, certain production processes will inevitably be paused, however many jobs will carry on unaffected.
All staff have facilities to monitor emails, and may be available for skype sessions if necessary, this will allow for work to continue as smoothly as possible through this difficult time for everybody.
