The company is privileged to announce the appointment of Shenzhen Lightsun Company as its exclusive distributor in China. The agreement between the 2 companies was finalised during a recent visit to Lightsun’s offices in Shenzhen by our Marketing Director, Malcolm Howey. Malcolm is pictured below with Shenzhen Lightsun’s General Manager, Mr Vincent Zhu. Shenzhen is located just over the mainland border from Hong Kong and has a population of 8 million people despite the fact the city as such did not exist a mere 20 years ago - a prime example of the rate of growth in China if one was needed.

 

During the visit a meeting was also held at the offices of Dr Zhou Xiang Yang, Director of the Shenzen Centre for Quality Crop Seed, and following the meeting Dr Zhou placed an order for one of our automatic weather stations. The station will be installed at one of China’s leading farm institutes for agricultural technology.

 

EML is extremely confident that the agreement with Shenzhen Lightsun under the dynamic leadership of Mr Zhu heralds the beginning of many years of successful trading and friendly co-operation between the 2 companies.
