EML in China—Part 2

Following the visit to China last year by Malcolm Howey, a follow-up visit was carried out in June by our Technical Manager Mark Dutton. During the trip Mark visited our agents in China, Shenzhen Lightsun Industry Co. Ltd and also took the opportunity to visit one of our automatic weather stations supplied earlier this year to the Shenzhen Centre for Quality Crop Seed and installed at one of their major farming institutes one hour north of Shenzhen. Institute staff were given a comprehensive on-site product training course by Mark as were Shenzhen Lightsun staff later in the visit.

Mark also visited Lightsun-Stone in Shenyang in North East China where he was accompanied by Mr Vincent Zhu, Lightsun's General Manager. Again further comprehensive product training was carried out, this time to a number of Shenyang engineers, while time was also allocated by Mark's hosts for him to enjoy some traditional Chinese hospitality and site-seeing which was gratefully appreciated.

 

The visit underlined our commitment to supporting our agents Shenzhen Lightsun as much as possible and our recognition that China will be a key market for EML for many years to come.
