EML have partnered up with Gateshead Council to supply and install SBS raingauges for “Project Groundwater Northumbria” (PGN) at multiple sites across the local area.
PGN is funded by the Department of Environment, Food & Foreign Affairs £200 million Flood and Coastal Innovation Programmes (FCIP). The programmes will drive innovation in flood and coastal resilience and adaptation to a changing climate. The FCIP programmes are managed by the Environment Agency.
We are pleased to have installed the first raingauge at a local school ready to kick start the project.
With many more sites to be confirmed, EML look forward to an exciting and worthwhile project with PGN over the coming years.
