The new Bird Spike kit is compatable with any ARG or SBS rain gauge supplied by EML (see below photos).  It is simply mounted and adjusted to suit the circumference of the rain gauge.

This product is will be very useful for any of our customers who have problems with bird droppings, birds building nests inside or simply landing on rain gauges and affecting the levelling.  The spikes form a barrier which deters birds from landing, without causing injury to the bird.

The photo on the right, kindly supplied by an EML customer, shows an ARG100 mounted on a cross arm, with a bird spike kit attached.
