EML will be sharing an exhibition stand in Vienna with partners Gill Instruments at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly, 8th – 13th April 2018. This event is the largest and most prominent European geosciences event in Europe, attracting over 11,800 scientists from around the world each year. The conference sessions comprise a wide range of topics, including the atmosphere, climate, energy and resources of the earth, and of other planets! The exhibition features over 80 companies and organisations, many displaying exciting instruments used to perform novel measurements in the toughest of climates. As well as exhibiting, EML will be presenting the results of the latest research paper submitted, on quantifying and mitigating the effects of wind-induced undercatch in rainfall measurements. These will be demonstrated as part of the poster Session of HS 7.1, taking place in Hall A on Thursday 12th April, with an author in attendance between 17:30-19:00. The abstract for this submission can be viewed here, and information about the presentation is listed below We look forward to seeing you in Vienna!
